About us

01 / ABOUT

Built by clinicians who understand the challenge

GuideAI Health was born from a fundamental insight: that the gap between available imaging data and early disease detection could be bridged through intelligent technology.

  • AI-powered early detection of PAD
  • Enhanced accuracy and consistency
  • Actionable insights for earlier intervention

Clinical Foundation

Our platform is built on years of clinical experience in interventional radiology. Every algorithm, every interface decision, every workflow integration reflects deep understanding of how radiologists work and what clinicians need.

We don't just build AI—we build clinical tools that radiologists can trust, understand, and integrate seamlessly into their practice.

Scientific Rigor

Our AI models are developed using rigorous scientific methodology.

Each model undergoes extensive validation against real-world clinical data from diverse patient populations.

We partner with leading academic medical centers to ensure our technology meets the highest standards of accuracy, reliability, and clinical utility.

Partnership Approach

We believe the best healthcare technology is built in partnership with those who use it. That's why we work closely with radiologists, healthcare systems, and clinical teams throughout development and deployment.

Our goal isn't just to sell software—it's to become a trusted partner in improving patient outcomes through earlier disease detection.

02 / MISSION

Enabling earlier intervention before disease becomes irreversible

Chronic PAD affects millions worldwide, yet it often progresses silently for years before symptoms appear. By then, intervention windows have narrowed significantly.

01

Early Detection

Identify subtle PAD markers years before symptoms manifest, when interventions are most effective and outcomes are most favorable.

02

Clinical Impact

Reduce adverse cardiovascular events, prevent amputations, and decrease long-term healthcare costs through timely intervention.

03

Seamless Integration

Deliver actionable insights without disrupting existing radiology workflows, ensuring adoption and consistent clinical value.

04

Continuous Innovation

Constantly refine our models with new data, emerging research, and clinical feedback to push the boundaries of early disease detection.

03 / JOURNEY

Building the future of vascular imaging

From clinical insight to AI-powered innovation—scroll to explore our story

2022–2023

Clinical Genesis

GuideAI Health is founded by Dr. Raj Shah and Dr. Luke Higgins after identifying missed early signs of PAD in routine imaging. They begin building computer vision models to detect vascular markers, while Dr. Amin Katouzian joins to scale AI infrastructure and support regulatory readiness.

2024

Validation and Visibility

GuideAI gains recognition after presenting at the LSI Emerging Medtech Summit, earning "Company to Watch" status in cardiovascular AI. The team launches clinical pilots with hospitals and teleradiology groups, integrating into PACS workflows, while securing seed funding from clinical angels and health-tech investors.

2025

Scale and Regulatory Progress

GuideAI is featured in industry watchlists, including the Canada's Drug Agency Horizon Scan, for its advancements in early disease detection. The platform becomes commercially available, focusing on radiologist efficiency and streamlined care, while expanding datasets globally to enhance diagnostic accuracy and model performance.

2026

FDA 510(k) Clearance

GuideAI received FDA 510(k) clearance for VascularAssist Occlusion Triage (VAOT), an AI device that flags suspected vascular occlusion for prioritized radiologist review, achieving up to 95% patient level sensitivity in clinical performance testing.

04 / TEAM

Expert leadership combining clinical expertise with technological innovation

Our team unites interventional radiologists, AI researchers, healthcare technologists, and clinical operations experts—all driven by a shared mission to transform vascular care.
